James Robert Welborn, 59, of Manton passed away on Monday May 13, 2013.

James was born on July 10, 1953 in Oceanside, California at Camp Pendleton.

He is preceded in death by his father Jerry Mack of Texas.

He is survived by his mother, Fay and his children Heather Groesser of Cadillac and Jake Groesser of Lake City. Also surviving are his brothers Dale of Traverse City and Jerry (Cindy) of Mt Pleasant and his sisters Susan of Riverview, Fla and Sara of Traverse City as well as several nieces and nephews.

James was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed watching the Tigers and spending time with his dog Carter. He most enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

There will be a memorial on Saturday May 18th at the Moose Lodge in Reed City, Mi at 1pm. Come and share your stories with us.Please sign the guest book and share a message or memory with his family.
