Jeffrey Michael DeVincent, 70 of Traverse City, died Wednesday, November 15, 2023. He was born on October 20, 1953 in Traverse City the son of John and Marianne (Galligan) DeVincent.

Jeff left school and joined the US Army and served for 7 years. He received his GED while in the Army. Jeff was an Army Huey Helicopter Mechanic and later a Crew Chief. He obtained his AMP Aircraft Mechanics License.

He was a Tool and Die Marker with Tower Automotive and later a Maintenance Manager with Plascom. Jeff was a member of the TRAMPS, Model Airplane Pilot Society for several years. He loved to fly Model Airplanes and Helicopters. He received his Commercial Drone Pilots License and did Aerial Photography.

He was a Fix it Person and a Jack of all Trades. Jeff was very good at building things.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Caroline “Carol”, (Burns) DeVincent; they were married, October 30, 1971 in Traverse City; children, Ginger (Dave) Kyle of Colorado Springs, Jenny DeVincent of Grand Rapids and Michael (Amy) DeVincent of Kingsley; brother Kevin DeVincent of Traverse City and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Marianne; sister, Lisa Brown and Daniel DeVincent.

Contributions may be made to the Cherryland Humane Society.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Life Story Funeral Home. Visitation will start at 10:00 am. Burial will be in the Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
