Jody Ann Frenchi, age 60 of Traverse City, died October 9, 2018. Jody was born on October 14, 1957, in Bear Lake, MI to Edward and Joyce Frenchi.

Jody loved to gather family and friends to host parties, play cards and share a sense of community. Jody loved scenic drives, glass collecting, the beach, purple, butterflies, mushroom picking and music.

Jody managed many area establishments and made many strong friendships. Jody’s life transitioned into taking care of adults & the elderly. Jody became owner of Frenchi AFC and won numerous awards for outstanding care of the disabled. Jody had a heart of gold and strived to help people in need by opening her home to others whether it was for a meal, safe shelter or lending an ear.

Jody was survived by her children, Traci George of Traverse City, Jason (Katie) Rozga of Roselle, IL, Amanda Riemann of Cedar; grandchildren Jacob & Aaden (Traci), Elenore (Jason), Isabel, Louie & Oliver Lacross (Amanda); siblings: Debra (Steve) Maskevich, Cheryl Frenchi, Thomas Clyne and sister-in-law, Jan Frenchi.

Her parents and brothers Ricki and Ron Frenchi, preceded her in death.

A burial service will be held on Saturday October 27, 2018, 1pm at the Mount Carmel Cemetery in Manistee.
