Joseph James Fulco Jr., 69, of Traverse City, died August 22, 2021. He was born January 28, 1952, in Bay City Michigan, the son of Joseph James Sr. and Januitte (Reinecke) Fulco.

Joe married Maryann Grappin August 16, 1980 in Traverse City.

Joseph was a co-owner of Grand Traverse Bay Fencing with Bob Conklin for 30 years.

He loved being out on the golf course, playing pool and bowling. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing when he was younger. He was a classic car enthusiast. He enjoyed spending time with the family and loved his children and grandchildren

He is survived by his wife, Maryann; children, Jodi (Aron) Green, Jeremy (Kristi) Fulco, Justin (Crystal) Fulco, and Jason (Robin) Fulco; 27 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; parents, Joseph Sr. and Januitte Fulco; sister, Judy (Jim) Prior; sisters-in-law, Joan (Jim) Neal, Ann "Kid" Grappin; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Orville and Mary Grappin and brothers-in-law, Don (Tootie) Grappin and Ron (Bonnie) Grappin and niece, Cindy Grappin.

Contributions may be made in Joe's honor to the Hospice of Michigan, Traverse City and the American Lung Association.
