Juli Weiss

Julianne H. Weiss, born November 12, 1941 in Chicago, IL, died June 19, 2024 following a long illness. She is survived by her husband, Walter Weiss of Traverse City, and her sister Christine Roberts of Grand Marias, MI.

Juli and Walt were married 60 years, on September 7, 1963 in Detroit, MI.

She and her husband met at Michigan State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics and Interior Design. During her career she was a teacher, artist, loved arts and crafts, worked in interior design studios in Detroit, Cleveland, and Phoenix, AZ., and was a fashion model in Cleveland. She and her husband traveled extensively throughout the 48 states and Canada.

Juli was compassionate, and caring, freely expressed her love for everyone, and never missed a chance to tell others of her love of Jesus. When asked of the greatest moment of her life she said, “When I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and knew that Heaven was my final home”.
