Justin Jacobson

Justin Wayne Jacobson, 40, of Traverse City died unexpectedly on June 7, 2022 at his residence. Justin was born on September 28, 1981 in Marquette, MI the son of Michael and Renee (Harden) Jacobson.

Justin moved to Traverse City in 1987 with his family. He graduated from CHS in 2000 and attended NMC. He was employed as head mechanic at Pirate’s Cove. He loved to hunt with his dad in the UP. Camping, boating, riding dirt bikes and ATVs brought him joy. Recently he took great pride in renovating his home.

Surviving along with his parents are 2 sisters; Giselle Jacobson and Darcy (Matt Gift) Jacobson; his grandmother, Mary (Ed) Leonard; Uncles, Ray Jacobson, Pat Harden, Dale (Paula) Harden, Dean (Joann), Harden, Dennis (Judy) Harden and Brent (Mary) Harden and 2 special friends; Melissa Zagunis and Alan ‘Daggers’ Mikowski.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Pat Harden and Gary and Judy Jacobson.

A service to honor his life will be celebrated on August 6th at 3pm. Please contact the family for details. As a reflection of Justin’s love for animals, memorial contributions in his name may be made to: Cherryland Humane Society, Traverse City.
