Karon Kay Bevelhymer, 79, of Maple City, died Saturday, September 26, 2026. She was born on June 15, 1947 in Traverse City the daughter of Harold and Frances (Seitz) Aeschliman.
She was a Beautician and owner of the Bay Hair Design Salon for over 15 years. She then worked with Lear Corporation for over 10 years. She finished her career in housekeeping at Munson Medical Center after 10 plus years.
Her family was her life, and she loved being with her grandchildren. Karon enjoyed gardening and being with her friends. She was a good listener, and was very supportive to her family and friends.
Karon is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Bevelhymer; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Pamela Bevelhymer; daughter and son-in-law, Kelli and Randy Bolser. Her grandchildren Kyle Bevelhymer, his wife Emily Johnson, Sarah Roch, Maddie Thompson and Max Thompson.
and her great-grandchildren, Bodhi, Arlo and Margaret Bevelhymer.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Frances; stepmother, Veronica (Agruda) Aeschliman; brother, Ronald Aeschliman; sister, Connie “Tiny” Aeschliman; half-sister, Peggy Clarke; stepbrothers, Ernest Agruda; and Randy Agruda.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Women’s Resource Center, Traverse City.
Private burial will be at the Solon Township Cemetery, Cedar.
