Kenneth "Tuna" Lihou

Kenneth “Tuna” Duane Lihou, 61, of Traverse City passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2023.

Ken was born November 4, 1961, in Sault Ste Marie to the late Merlin and Ruth (Gady) Lihou. The family moved to Traverse City in 1969. Ken graduated from Traverse City Senior High in 1981.

Ken worked for many years doing a lot of different things, his last was being a machinist.

Ken really enjoyed hanging out with his friends whether it was playing cards, golfing, or having a few beers and shooting the shit!

He is survived by his siblings, Bill (Coleen) Lihou, Dennis Lihou, Terri Lihou, and Sarah (Michael) Mack; his nephews, Joseph (Michelle) Lihou of Norton Shores, Collin (Lauren) Lihou of Denver, CO., Hunter Lihou of Traverse City, and Josh Wilson of Traverse City, his nieces, Bailey (Zak) Pater of Traverse City and Hannah Wilson of Traverse City; his great-nieces, Mackenzie Lihou and Rowan Pater; and his great-nephews, Miles Lihou, Joseph Lihou, and Cooper Lihou.

Ken is preceded in death by his infant sister and his grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at The Traverse City Eagles, 409 W. 14th St.
