Laura Reamer

Laura Eveline Reamer, 88, of Traverse City passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Born March 3, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan, to Joseph and Blanche (Anderson) Ingham.

Laura married her beloved husband, Ralph Reamer, on May 17, 1958 and moved to join his family in Traverse City shortly thereafter.

Laura was a proud Registered Nurse at Munson Medical Center before transferring to the now closed Traverse City Osteopathic Hospital where she retired in 1995.

Laura was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. She enjoyed reading, biking, baking, and traveling, especially to Florida every winter with her husband Ralph. Laura also enjoyed babysitting for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Laura is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jack Ingham, husband, Ralph Reamer, and daughter in law, Diana Reamer.

Laura leaves behind two sons, John Reamer and David Reamer, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held. Burial will take place at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens next to her husband, Ralph.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Arthritis and Osteoporosis Association in honor of Laura Reamer.
