Lawrence F. Bryan, 86 of Lake Ann passed away April 28, 2020 at home. Larry was born in Flint, MI on November 1, 1933 to William and Margaret Bryan. He retired after 20 years in the U.S.A.F in 1973 and then drove school bus for Traverse City Area Schools for 20 years and retired in 1993.

Larry and Dorothy have spent the past 27 winters in Bull head City, AZ where he enjoyed playing blackjack at the casino.

Larry is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy (Jackson, Revnell) Bryan, sons, Micheal Revnell of Socorro, NM, Robert (Darlene) Revnell of Traverse City, MI, Lawrence Revnell of Interlochen, MI, daughter Teresa (Yosuke) Obayashi of Troy, MI, sons Kenneth (Debbie) Bryan , Belen, NM and Russell Bryan, Ferndale MI. Larry has 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He has many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, William McKinley (Mac) and Margaret (Morgan) Bryan; son, Joseph Revnell; step mother, Elsie Bryan, brothers, James Bryan, Charles Bryan; sisters, Marie Smith and Patricia Morse; two step brothers, Elmer Jackson and Bill Jackson and a step sister, Grace Kroupa.

A memorial mass will be held 10 am, Friday, July 17, 2020 at St. Francis Catholic Church; no visitation before mass. Social Distancing will be followed; masks are recommended. Military Graveside Services will start at 12 noon at Lake Ann Cemetery. Burial will take place for his son, Joseph "Joe" Revnell at 12: 45pm at the same cemetery. A reception will follow at Almira Twp. Park. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
