Lucille Ann Wilson, age 73, passed away peacefully on April 27th, 2018. She was the daughter of Benjamin and Alba Spitzer. Lucy was born in San Diego, California on August 4th, 1945.
In California, she worked as a clerk in the Department of Motor Vehicles. After her retirement, her daughter was blessed that Lucy was able to watch and care for her two granddaughters while she worked.
Lucy’s daughter meant everything to her and even moved to Michigan to be with her and her family. Lucy was a member of The Orchard Church and loved her church family dearly. Lucy enjoyed listening to Neil Diamond and Elvis Presley's music. She was part of a bowling league and loved to bowl with her family. Lucy also liked to decorate her house with hummingbirds and lighthouses.
She enjoyed taking painting classes and reading. Lucy had a great sense of humor and always shared entertaining stories with everyone. Lucy would spend time with her family and friends by playing card games, puzzles, and watching movies with them. She also enjoyed watching her granddaughter’s sport games, concerts, and other activities.
Lucy will forever be missed by her daughter and son-in-law; Kathy and Tracy Hatfield and two granddaughters, Megan and Kayla; sister, Dottie Stuart; nieces, Sherry, Sandy and Susie.
Lucy was preceded in death by her father Ben Spitzer and mother Alba Spitzer.
Lucy is in complete peace with the Lord and smiling down on us from Heaven.
Memorial Services will be held 1pm, Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the Orchard Church, 3903 Voice Rd. Kingsley; where the family will greet friends starting at 12:30 pm. Please sign the guestbook and share your thoughts and memories with the family.
