Marjorie Ilene Lindisch, 77, of Williamsburg passed peacefully, September 17, 2020. Born in Dearborn, she loved the outdoors and gardening, spending hours during good weather tending to her flowers.

She spent 42 years as the beloved wife of Barton Lindisch, most of that downriver in Wyandotte. Marjorie was the loving mother of Bethany (Roger) Cameron and Walter (Nancy) Reiter, who gave her grandchildren whom were incredibly important to her: Nathan (Charlotte) Cheatham, Laura, Paul and Charlie Cameron, Mason and Rachel Reiter. She was the sister of Mary Sue Kahl.

Marjorie graduated as a nurse in 1966, and worked in the downriver Detroit area at Sinai hospital before spending most of her career caring for nursing home residents. She felt that she could relate with the elderly, and had a passion for care.

Marjorie and Barton enjoyed their vacations to various locations in Northern Michigan, eventually settling in Williamsburg outside of Traverse City in 2015.

The family would also like to express that if you wish to make a donation on Marjorie’s behalf, they have chosen the Cherryland Humane Society of Traverse City as their benefit.

Please visit www.lifestorytc.com to share your thoughts and more. The family chose Life Story Funeral Home.
