Marsha Barrix

Marsha Ellen Barrix, 69, of Traverse City passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Alpena.

Marsha Ellen Barrix was born in Lansing on November 15, 1953, to the late Charles and Nyda (Kelley) Barrix. She worked in retail her entire life. Marsha was very proud to share that she was a Fur Coat Model for many years at Saxon Furs in Traverse City.

Marsha is survived by the pride and joy of her life, children, Sam Maddix, Amy (Bruce) Roznowski, Charles (Kerrie) Grote, Jonathan (Brandi) Grote; 11 grandmidgets, Killian, Sebastian, Naomi, Katelyn, Michael, Taylor, Liam, Jackson, Wyatt, Rocky, Payton; 3 great-grandmidgets, Nicholas, Trent, Emma; brother, Steve (LaVergne) Barrix and a brother-in-law, Kirk Hooper.

Marsha was preceded in death by parents and a sister, Sue Hooper.

A celebration of life will be held 4pm, Friday, December 30, 2022 at Life Story Funeral Home. The family will greet friends starting at 3 pm.
