MaryJane Fritts-Delgrosso, 88, of Traverse City, died on April 20, 2025. She was born on December 2, 1936, to Philip and Josephine (Kierczek) Nowicki in Detroit, Michigan.
Mom loved spending her time with her children and grandchildren and loved her numerous dogs. She loved making memories on Spider Lake and at the family cottage in Torch Lake. MaryJane as a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
MaryJane’s family would like to send a special thank you to Boardman Lake Glens; they took exceptional care of our mom. Also, a special thank you to Hospice of Michigan.
Mom is survived by her daughters, Cynthia (John) Fritts Sirmeyer and Joy (George) Osterloh; son, Rob Fritts; grandchildren, Amanda Mountcastle, Nick Stewart, Alex Ogden, Matt Clark, John Clark, Shelby Fritts, Egan Fritts; great-grandchildren, Madelyn Stewart, Audinet Clark, Parker Clark, Eli Ogden, and Elsie Ogden.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dino Delgrosso, whom she married on February 14, 1998, in Sonoma, California and her son, Philip Fritts.
Mom was surrounded by her family as she left to go on her next journey.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan, Traverse City.
The family and church will be honoring MaryJane with an Intention by announcing her name during a regular Mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Kingsley. A private interment will take place at Oakwood Catholic Cemetery, Traverse City.
