Nancy Sanderson

Nancy L. Sanderson of Traverse City, Michigan died June 8, 2023 at Munson Hospital.

Nancy was born February 18th, 1952 in Saginaw, Michigan to Margaret Orosz and Thomas Fish. She graduated from Bridgeport High with the class of 1969.

She married Thomas Sanderson on October 6th, 1973 and gave birth to two sons, Joel Sanderson and Brock Sanderson.

She enjoyed traveling, laying in the sun, and a good buffet. She became the owner of Fit To Be Dyed, which was very successful for its time. She was an excellent cook, specializing in throwing parties, or “do-ins”. She loved being with family and friends, always making sure no one was left out for any holiday or birthday.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Katherine Fish. Mourning her loss is her family, which includes her sons, Joel (Nikoline) Sanderson and Brock (Naomi) Sanderson; three grandchildren, Madeline, Brock (Kayla), and Quin; and one great grandchild, Theodore.

Many interesting and sentimental items will be sold and auctioned at a Celebration of Life Party and Food Reception, which will be held, 2pm to 7pm, Saturday, June 24th 2023 at the Grand Traverse Event Center, (which was the old Comedy Club).
