Patrick (Rick) John Beagle was called to Heaven on June 25, surrounded by his loving family. Loved by many, Rick had an enormous impact on everyone who knew him. He was born on March 24,1956, in Lansing, MI, to Robert John Beagle and Jacquelyn Louise (Spack) Beagle. As a young boy, his family moved to Northern Michigan where Rick grew up with his eight siblings, graduating from Traverse City High School in 1975. He was a lifelong athlete and loved participating in musicals.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 42 years, Jeanette Marie (Mead) Beagle, five children, Travis (Jin) of South Korea, Paul (Renée) of Grand Rapids, Joshua (Jungkyung) of South Korea, Aaron (Julie) of Kalamazoo, and Cathryn (Shaun) Holstine of Traverse City, and nine grandchildren, Natalie, Emmet, Camden, Liho, Lina, Adrian, Chloe Beagle, and Max and Tucker Holstine. He also is survived by sisters Cathy Stathakis and Pam (Dave) Nickerson, and brothers Robert, David, Jon, Joel, and Nick, brothers-in-law Bill and Norman Mead, and sisters-in-law Nancy (Vene) Yates and Susie Mead, along with many nieces and nephews.

Rick loved telling stories, and sharing his wisdom and his delightful sense of humor with everyone he knew. No one was a stranger. He will forever live on in the hearts of the ones who cherish him. Rick’s joys in life were faith, family, sports, playing with his grandchildren, music, meaningful conversations, and taking care of loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Christopher Lee Beagle.

His greatest request in his final moments to his loved ones was to “love thy neighbor.” A memorial service will be held at a later date. Details will be provided by his family.
