Paul Balow

Balow, Paul Edward 12/24/1947 - 12/20/2020 Interlochen, Michigan Paul Edward Balow, 72, passed away peacefully at his home in Interlochen, MI on Sunday, December, 20, 2020. Paul was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan to Henry and Martha (Plotzka) Balow on December 24, 1947. He graduated from Bishop Gallagher High School in Harper Woods, MI in 1965. Paul has fond memories of walking home for lunch, listening to Motown music, and drag racing down Woodward Avenue with friends. Paul lived most of his life in Bay City and enjoyed visiting the Upper Peninsula, hunting and fishing. He retired from his career as an engineer with Michigan Bell in 1999. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Sue (Hager), daughters Allison (Callan Sr.) Benedict and Stephanie (Carter) Seigh, grandchildren Callan Benedict Jr., Zoey and Noah Seigh, and his loyal dogs, Maggie and Eva.
