Peggy Joan (Blackmon) Grose, 81 of Traverse City, Michigan. Our beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend left those who loved her here to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 17, 2023. She was born on February 5, 1942 in King City, California the daughter of John and Flossie (Sims) Blackmon. She married the love of her life Daniel Grose on June 24, 1962.

Peggy loved raising her 4 children. She wanted and enjoyed being home with them when they were young. Once her children were older she went to work at Lear Automotive for the next 19 years. Peggy found pleasure with the simple things like recipes and baking, “going to the store”, and reading the Sunday paper. She cherished just spending time with her family, friends and having the grandchildren over.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Flossie Blackmon.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Daniel Grose; her brother, Harold Blackmon; her four children, Natalie (Greg) McManemy, Tammy (Barry) McGuire, Tom Grose (Amanda), April Grose; ten grandchildren, Alex (Mariah) Janiga, Zach Janiga (Charity), Nicole Janiga (Sterling), Sloane McManemy, Megan McManemy, April Marie Castagneto, Amanda Castagneto, Aaron Burnett, Selena McGarrity and Alvin McGarrity; four great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Nova, Penelope, and Alvin as well as many nieces and nephews.
