Phillip A. Hall, Jr, 41, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 21st, 2022, as a result of a head-on collision. Phil’s loss was sudden and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.

Phil is survived by his fiancé Morgan Weatherwax; son, Ethan Hentschel; daughter, Isabelle Hall; mother, Doris Morgan; sister, Renee (Alan) Zywicki; nephews, Ricky Zywicki and Keith Zywicki; nibling, AJ Zywicki; niece, Angel (Paul) Johnson; great nieces, Elleigha Narmore and Athena Johnson; aunt, Elaine (Jim) Moore (cousin, Wesley Scruggs), aunt, Glenda Davis (cousins, David Rees and Brandon Davis) and Uncle Kyle (Tina) Stuckey. Many family and friends will miss him dearly.

He was proceeded in death by his Grandma Opal Williams, Uncle Randy Davis, Great Grandma Essie Morgan and Aunt Lynell Anderson.

Phil was born on November 15th, 1980, to Phillip Hall, Sr and Doris Morgan in Gainesville, Florida. Phil graduated from Land O’ Lakes High School and enjoyed playing football and video games. A few years after graduating high school, Phil moved to Traverse City, Michigan, with his mom and to be closer to his sister Renee’ and her family.

Phil absolutely loved the outdoors. He would spend his time off going on adventures hiking, kayaking, and exploring new things in the Upper Peninsula and the waterfalls. He also enjoyed traveling and was in the process of arranging a road trip with his fiancé to go from Michigan to Florida then to Arizona.

Anyone who knew Phil, knew that he was a kind, loving person who gave the BEST bear hugs! Phil’s family and friends will miss him more than words can say.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 30th, 2022 from 4pm – 6pm at Harvest Bible Chapel Traverse City, Michigan. All who knew Phil are welcomed to come and share their memories with the family. If you cannot attend, please consider posting at www.lifestorytc.com.
