He worked residential construction and then later at JP Manufacturing and was a member of the Revival Center of Kingsley. Raymond enjoyed working with friends and family on construction projects, working in the garage on lawn mowers and woodworking projects, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Merlyn Golec and brothers, Milton Hoyt and Basil Hoyt.

An informal gathering to celebrate Raymond’s life will be held 2pm to 6pm, Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the Summit City Grange Hall, 9345 Church St near Summit City Rd. In lieu of flowers contributions can be directed to Forest Area Credit Union in care of Penny (Hoyt) Stafford.
