Rebecca 'Becky' Quade

Rebecca Lynn Quade, 41 of Mesick, died Sunday, January 8, 2017.

She was born on June 7, 1975 the daughter of Donald Ray and Barbara Ann (Chandler) Weast. Becky graduated from Mesick High School in 1993. She started her career at the Grand Traverse Pavilions in 1997 and retired as Environmental Service Manager in 2015. Becky enjoyed working part-time at the Mesick High School. Becky was employed with Life Story Funeral Home since May 2016.

Becky loved supporting her children's school activities. She was the Mesick Class Advisor for the Class of 2018 and volunteered with the Sports Booster's Athletic Club. She loved camping, spring break vacations with family and friends and her small tomato garden.

Becky is survived by her husband, Laren Quade of Mesick; they were married on July 19, 1997 at the Antioch Church; daughter, Brooke, son, Thomas; mother, Barbara Haggerty of Mesick; siblings, Timothy Weast of Tennessee, Lynnell (Spencer) Manning of Virginia, Paul Corbett and Lloyd Weast of Tennessee; grandparents, Lloyd (Iovia) Chandler of Mesick.

She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Weast, grandmother, Virginia Chandler and father and mother-in-law, Donald and Linda Quade.

Visitation will be held from 10am to 12 noon on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Life Story Funeral Home. Services will be held at 12 noon.
