Richard Mallow

Richard George Mallow, 84, of Traverse City, passed away, Thursday, October 19, 2023.

He was born on September 30, 1939 in Angola, Indiana the son of George William and Mildred Marie (Ryan) Mallow.

Richard was a lifelong outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing with his boys. His great passion was spending time with his family, he always said, family comes first. He loved watching U of M Football, “Go Blue.”

Richard is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Miner) Mallow; children, Deb Rasho of Lake Ann, Kirk (Adam Callaway) Mallow of Traverse City and Harbor Springs, Bryan (Sabrina) Mallow of Tampa, FL, and Scott (Leanne) Mallow of Traverse City; grandchildren, Alexis, Brittany, Scott Jr. and Connar; great-granddaughter, Harper; siblings, Tom (Kay) Mallow of Little Rock, AR, Bud Mallow of Dallas, TX and John (Cindy) Mallow of Texas and lifelong childhood friends, Tom and Nita Dupuie of Caseville, Michigan.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Mildred; son, Dale Allen Mallow and brother, Stan Mallow.

Contributions may be made in Richard’s memory to Hospice of Michigan, Traverse City.

Private services will be held at Life Story Funeral Home with a private burial at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
