Richard "Rick" Anderson

Richard “Rick” Stephen Anderson, 62, of Acme Twp, Williamsburg, Michigan, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2025 after a brief illness. He is the loving and devoted son of Rosemary Ray.

Rick graduated from Traverse City Public Schools in 1984. He won honors in Swimming and received a Full Scholarship to Michigan Tech in Houghton. He received his Engineering Degree with Honors from Michigan Tech.

Rick was an Electrical Engineer.

He did loved sports, swimming, beach volleyball, basketball and tennis. He enjoyed being in the outdoors and camping.

Rick took care of his mother, Rosemary and was very loving and good to her. He was also devoted to and loved his four sisters and one brother. He loved his nephews and nieces and was very close with them.

Rick is survived by his mother, Rosemary Ray, sister, Susan Cotton, her children, nephew, Christopher Cotton and niece, Chelsea Snyder; sister, Karri Anderson and her children, nieces, Gina Servernce, Anna Anger and Emily Anger; sister, Debra Wolverton and her children, nephew, Thomas Jock and niece, Kayla Jock; brother, Eric Anderson; sister, Sarah Paddock and uncle, Steve Anderson.

He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Lynn “Tiny” Ray.

Cremation has taken placed. No public services will be held.
