Roberta Kuhlman

Roberta A. 'Bobbye' Kuhlman 78 of Traverse City died Monday, May 16, 2011. She was born on January 21, 1933 in Little Rock, Arkansas the daughter of Chester and Mildred Davis.

Bobbye retired as a Registered Nurse working with Traverse City Osteopathic Hospital and Munson Medical Center. She was very proud of earning her Master of Art's in Counseling at 70 years of age.

Bobbye volunteered with the American Red Cross, Goodwill, and was very active in Hospice Care.

Bobbye is survived by her daughters, Terry Brinkman and Tracey (David) Weatherholt and sons, Tony (Cathy) Kuhlman and Tom Kuhlman, grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Nick, Katherine, Dan, Don and Adam, great-grandchildren, DJ, Colin, Tyler, Hailey and Ally, brother, Ed (Hilda) Davis and nieces, Laura and Cindy and nephew, Mike.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Chet and Mildred Davis.

A gathering for family and friends will be held 4pm to 7pm Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Life Story Funeral Home, Traverse City. A funeral service will be held 10:30 am, Friday, May 20, 2011 also at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Red Cross or Munson Regional Healthcare Foundation, designated to Munson Hospice.
