Ronald Frenchi

Ronald Lee Frenchi, age 64 of Traverse City, died July 16, 2018. Ron was born on January 7, 1954, in Whittier, California to Edward and Joyce Frenchi.

He married Janice Lasich on Sept. 2, 1990, in Traverse City. Ron worked for many years at Munson Medical Center as an RN and then as a Senior Systems Analyst. He enjoyed playing golf and card games, hunting, fishing, camping, feeding the birds and squirrels and gathering with friends and family. Ron will be remembered for being the bright spot in the room. He always made people laugh with his sensational wit.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Jan Frenchi, children; Jen (Rick) Clark, John (Gabriela) Moon and Jamie Moon, sisters; Debra (Steve) Maskovich, Jody Frenchi, Cheryl Frenchi, brother; Thomas Clyne, granddaughter; Kristin (Jake Stone) Clark, grandson; Aaron Moon; great-grandson, Jackson Stone and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Rick, sister; Sharon and infant daughter, Kindra.

Ron’s family would like to thank the staff at Munson for all the visits, excellent care, and support during a very difficult time. Ron’s Munson Family has suffered a significant loss as he was a part of each person's daily humor.

A celebration of life will be held 1pm to 4pm, Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Blue Bridge Event Center, 1950 Ellis Lake Rd, Grawn. Military Honors will be held at 2pm with a eulogy to follow by Richard Alan Hall. Memorial contributions can be made to Munson Hospice, Munson Hospitality House or an animal rescue of your choice.
