Ronald Sobbry

Ronald L. Sobbry (Buckshot) 64 of Interlochen passed away January 27, 2022. He spent his childhood years in Elk Rapids, later moving to Florida and then back to Interlochen, Michigan.

Buckshot had such a sense of humor and love for his family and friends. He just enjoyed being around people and having a good time.

He was preceded in death by his father Frank H. Sobbry and mother, Helen J. Sobbry, brothers Robert (Sue) Johnson and Duane (Norma) Johnson, sister Linda Kingdon, nephew Richard Kingdon and great nephew Seth Ballitch.

He is survived by his daughter, Caitlin Johnson; his granddaughters, Maize, Lizzie and Preslie; brothers, Richard (Sue) Johnson, Frank (Marissa) Sobbry, Dale (Jenny) Sobbry;

sisters, Terry (Dale) Brink, Mary Sobbry and Carol Sobbry; many nieces and nephews and ex-wife, LuAnna Valentine. He is also survived by his special friends in Interlochen whom he enjoyed playing darts, golf cart riding and having a beer with. Thank you for always being there for him.

A private family service will be held at a later date. A celebration of Life with family and friends will also be at a later date.

He always would say:
