Rose Anne (Fabiszak) Petsch, 80, of Traverse City, passed away at home of her loving caregivers, nephew and niece, Steve and Janet Fabiszak on Saturday, February 26, 2022. She was born on May 4, 1941 at home in Centerville Twp., Leelanau County the daughter of Marion “Myron” Joseph and Irene Veronica (Bodus) Fabiszak.

She graduated from Holy Rosary School, Isadore in 1959. While attending school she was a Nanny during the week and then came home to the farm on the weekends.

Rose Anne worked as a key punch operator with R.L. Polk, data entry for Traverse City State Hospital and retired from the State of Michigan Unemployment Agency.

Rose Anne was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was a member of the Cherryland VFW Post 2780 Auxiliary, where she worked the Bingo. Rose Anne enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to spoil her nieces and nephews.

Rose Anne is survived by her siblings, Germaine (Donald) Schmidt, Dorothy (Dale) Fritz, Joseph Fabiszak, Alice (Robert) Nink and Clara Bonebrake; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Stanley “Stash” Fabiszak; brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Helen Fabiszak; sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Irvin Livingston and brother-in-law, Ronald Bonebrake.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11 am, Friday, May 27, 2022 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Isadore. The family will greet friends starting at 10:00 am with graveside services to follow the mass at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Isadore.
