Sharon Vitale

Sharon Lee Vitale, 84 of Traverse City, passed away surrounded by her family at MMC Hospice, June 17, 2022. Sharon was born December 13,1937, in Detroit, Mi. She was the daughter of Stanley Belcher and Julia Rosemond (Williams) Belcher.

Sharon enjoyed spending time with her husband and their family. She also enjoyed reading, tennis, golf, bridge, and Mahjong.

Sharon graduated from Redford Union High School and Schoolcraft College earning a Nursing degree (RN) while raising 3 children. She retired from St. Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mi.

Sharon and Ken were married for 65 years. They lived in Livonia and Traverse City, Mi.

Sharon faced many health challenges throughout the last eight years but she always had a positive attitude and tried different things to make her situation better.

Sharon is survived by her husband Ken Vitale, their daughters Vicki Mayes (Ron), Jill Pahl (Ken) and Pamela Bevelhymer (Mark). Sharon was blessed with 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
