Steven Joseph Ramirez, 56 of Traverse City, died Saturday, July 20, 2019. He was born on December 21, 1962 in Saginaw the son of Raymond Joseph and Phyllis Ann (Wajda) Ramirez.
He was a landscaper and wood worker. Steven loved the outdoors and nature and spending time with his daughter, Vanessa, grandchildren and family. He had a love for Golfing and was an animal lover! Steven was always willing to lend a hand with anything and anyone! He loved to watch the Jets every year. He loved Planes and playing his air guitar and listening to Rock N Roll, especially his AC DC.
Steven is survived by his mother, Ann (Russell) McNamara; daughter and daughter-in-law, Vanessa Ramirez and Jade Morgan; grandchildren, Kyler McCoy and Austin Carlisle and siblings, Robert (Sue) Ramirez, Ray (Lori) Ramirez and Deborah Norton, aunts uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Ramirez; grandparents, Gladys Guiterrez and Jose Ramirez and Stanley and Rose Wajda.
A memorial mass will be held 11am, Saturday, August 3, 2019 at St. Francis Catholic Church. The family will greet friend starting at 10 am.
