Terry Grant Dansingburg, 61, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Monday, November 5, 2018. Terry was born May 28, 1957 in Traverse City the son of Basil & Nellie (Milne) Dansingburg. He grew up in Mayfeild, MI and attended Kingsley schools. He married Michele Mallory on August 4, 1979, at First Congregational Church of Traverse City, MI. He worked for 35 years at Coca-Cola.

Growing up Terry loved fishing & hunting, especially rabbit hunting with his Dad. He was a long-time member of Ducks Unlimited.

He enjoyed many sports, he achieved black belt in karate and held season tickets to the Beachbums baseball team which he loved to attend with his wife. Terry was a member & Deacon of LifePoint Bible Church. He was fond of meeting with a group of men in a weekly Tuesday morning fellowship. He took great joy in spending time with his family and grandchildren by whom he was lovingly called Boppa. He will be remembered by many for his humor, encouragement & love for the Lord. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Michele Dansingburg; daughters, Danielle (Jordan) Sales, Mallory Voorheis; grandchildren, Ella, George, Oscar, Gus Sales, Henley & Ida Voorheis; sister, Marsha (Mike) Kantz; brother-in-law, Michael (Charlotte) Mallory; nephews, Mike Kantz & Matt Kantz, Paul (Katie) Mallory; nieces, Angela Mallory & Pam Mallory; great-nephew, Tegan Kantz; great-nieces, Amaya Kantz & Hannah West; many cousins; extended family, Pat Clingan, Cindy (Michael) Ashton, Tammy (Bob) Coffey, Brad Clingan & their families. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Basil & Nellie (Milne) Dansingburg.

Please join the family in honoring and celebrating Terry's life at 3pm Sunday, November 18th, at Life Story Funeral Home, 400 Hammond Rd. W. where the family will begin greeting family and friends starting at 2pm. Please consider contributions to The Gideons International in Terry's honor.
