Thomas Dale Guy, 81, of Fife Lake, died Tuesday, September 15, 2020. He was born on September 2, 1939 in Rapid City the son of the late Robert Dale and Pauline Florence (McDonald) Guy.

He graduated from Rapid City High School and attended NMC for 2 years. Tom then attended CMU and played football and was involved in the ROTC.

Tom was a Masonry Contractor. He formerly attended the Kiwanis in Kalkaska.

He married Mary Elizabeth Kaan in the 1970’s and they were married over 40 years.

Tom was a gentle giant. He loved deer hunting and fishing and watch all types of Sports. Tom was a dog musher and enjoyed dog sledding. He took part in creating and continuing the UP 200 dog sled race which was a qualifier for Iditarod in Alaska.

He liked animal and was very conscious of the treatment of animals.

Tom is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth (Kaan) Guy of Fife Lake; sisters, Pam (Ralph) Soffredine and Mary (Jerry) Lewis and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Sandra Guy; brothers, Sam and Moe Guy and his father and mother-in-law, Frederick and Ruth (Parker) Kaan.
