Thomas James Tremain, age 64, of Traverse City, passed away on October 17th, 2018. Tom was born on October 30, 1953, in Traverse City, MI to James and Arlene (Birkman) Tremain.

Tom was a remarkable father & grandfather, a marvelous son and brother, and a brilliant friend. Tom loved his family and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Tom loved being in the woods or at the lake, especially Long Lake. His hobbies included cooking, gardening, fishing, hunting, woodworking and watching football and NASCAR.

Tom is survived by his mother, Arlene Tremain; son, Johnathon Tremain (Tamara); daughter, Heather Brinks (Scott); grandchildren Lula and Vega Piper, Thomas and Lucas Brinks; Sister, Jan (Mark) Themm and many nieces and nephews.

His father, James Tremain, preceded him in death.

There will be a memorial to celebrate his life on November 10th from 1-3 at the Twin Lakes Park in the Gilbert Lodge. 6800 N Long Lake Rd, Traverse City, MI 49685.
