Veronica Harlan

Veronica Harlan of Grawn went to meet her Savior on Friday, October 13, 2023.

Born January 10, 1929 in Hamtramck the daughter of Veronica (Krol) and John Ziolkowski. She married Don Harlan in 1954. She was known as Ronnie to family and friends.

Volunteer work and giving to the needy was Ronnie’s passion.

Ronnie is survived by her children, Cheryl “Red” (Robert) Andresen of South Boardman and Donald D. “Topper” (Yvonne) Harlan II of New Mexico, grandchildren, Nicholas “Nick” Andresen of Grawn, Robert H. “JB” Andresen of Traverse City, Donald D. (Caren) Harlan III of Colorado, Marie (Mark) Fisher of Colorado and Kyle (Katie) Blomberg of Washington; great-grandchildren, Isabella “Bella” Fisher, Eliza Harlan and Ethan Harlan and brother, Ted Ziolkowski.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Harlan; parents, Veronica and John Ziolkowski; sisters, Helen Biermacher and Loretta Ziolkowski; brothers, John Ziolkowski and Harry Abbe.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11 am, Monday, November 6, 2023 at Life Story Funeral Home. Private burial will be held at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
