Walter Wolfe

Walter (Wally) Arthur Wolfe passed away November 28, 2023. Wally was born March 17th, 1957, in Royal Oak, Michigan to George and Gladys (Usher) Wolfe.

He is survived by a sister, 2 brothers, 3 nieces, 1 nephew and a great niece.

He was preceded in death by both parents and 1 brother.

Wally lived the first part of his life in the Royal Oak, Michigan area, then moved to Cheboygan Michigan for a time, but Traverse City became his forever home. He was employed in the service industry his entire life, and through working at different places over the years, he became well known and loved in Traverse City.

Wally lived a great life dedicated to his family and friends. His greatest love was water. He loved to fish, swim and cruising in his pontoon boat. His happiest times were spent singing, dancing and enjoying Bonfires with family and friends. His home was a welcome space for all those he loved. Wally was also very proud of the fact that he had a ministry certification and was able to marry many of his friends over the years.

Wally touched so many lives. Everyone loved his smile, humor and those great big bear hugs of his. His passing has caused a void that can never be filled.

A Celebration of life will be held in early spring 2024.
