Wanda Lou Topous, 84, of Traverse City, died Saturday, December 21, 2024. She was born on May 20, 1940 in Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of Karl Emerson and Ileen Lucille (White) Dilley.

Wanda was a homemaker and loved being with her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed knitting, traveling, riding her motorcycle, white water rafting, skydiving, line dancing, creating items through pottery, canning and cake decorating. Anyone who knew would call her “Mama Wanda” or “Mom.”

She is survived by her children, Kurtis, (Rhonda) Topous of Beulah, Tony (Kristie) Topous of Williams, Indiana, Jeffrey (Noelle Towner) Topous and Lisa (Neal) Kelderhouse both of Traverse City; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Barbara) Dilley and sisters-in-law.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frederick Alexander Topous Sr.; son, Frederick Alexander Topous Jr. and grandson, Kurtis Topous Jr.

A celebration of life will be announced in May 2025.
