Yvonne Eaton

Yvonne Eaton, age 64 of Traverse City, Michigan. Passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026 after a courageous battle of lung cancer.

Born August 7, 1961 to Rebecca Lemon (Plamondon) leaving behind three siblings, Laura, Becky and Gwen. Her four children Jason Ramsay, Jennifer Mathis, Ashley Chapman-Laura and Courtney Rogers. Grandchildren Tod Jr., Alex, Tyler, Sam, Miley, Ryan, Jed, Jeremiah, Daniella and one great grandson Vincent.

Attended Northwest Michigan College (NMC) where she began her educational journey in medical field and went onto master in a variety of construction trades throughout her life.

Yvonne had a deep love for the outdoors and the warmth of the sun (Also having the nickname Sunshine). She found joy in the nature and adventure, whether camping under the stars, canoeing along a river or casting a line while fishing.

A spirited competitor, she excelled in pool, bowling and horseshoes, also enjoying cheering on her Lions and playing bingo or a night out on her favorite slot machine.

She will remembered for her vibrant personality and her passion for life's simple pleasures and the warmth she shared with family and friends.

Yvonne will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Rest in peace, you will be forever in our hearts.
